Just a Friday afternoon...
Reilly went on her first school field trip today. She went to Applecrest Farm to enjoy all the fun that they offer (great place!). She picked some apples and chose a cute little pumpkin. Carrying that little pumpkin around was very tiring for lil miss Reilly though and she's quite exhausted. She wanted to decorate it as soon as she got through the door though. She had a fun-filled day! Field trips ROCK!

Sisters
There's something about the time right after baths when the kids are clean, settled and quiet. Reilly, Caragh, a warm blanket, a Care Bears episode and ahhhh...all is well.
I thought this sight was pretty cute: Caragh fast asleep and the both of them wearing my t-shirts to bed. I just love little girls.

Apple Pie Time!
There's nothing like baking an apple pie w/ the kids this time of year. It's just seems extra special. Their excitement and the smell of apple pie in general seems like a tradition of mother and child(ren) that must go back to the pilgrim days.
Do you think the lil pilgrim children acted like Caragh? Maybe...
Did the pilgrim Moms use Pillsbury Pie Crusts and threaten to send their lil pilgrim children to their bunk every 5 minutes? Hmmmm???
Did the older pilgrim child take a bite of this special apple pie and tell her pilgrim mother, "this stinks!"? I wonder... ;)
