Fish Fry & Patriots Game

We took a ride up to Jeff & Darlene's to watch the game and join in on their annual fish fry. Nice family time, great friends and the food was awesome~boiled dinner, fried clams, french fries, wings, chowder and more. We never even made it to the fried shrimp and haddock. We were all fried out after the deep-fried Snickers bars! OMG, those were good!

Papa Jack kept the kids happy w/ his pocket full of gum and Nana Coughlin had lots of special treats, as usual. Nana bought them life-size walking dolls. We thought they'd either love them or run the other way! These dolls are really huge! Well, they happen to love them and have carried them around since this afternoon (not such an easy feat). Thank you Nana, WE LOVE YOU! You're always thinking of us!

What a great time~thanks guys! We don't see you nearly as much as we'd like to.

1st Football Game of the season

Tonight will be Cass' first game as a highschool JV cheerleader.

This is her passion and we are always so proud to see her out there.

She wasn't too thrilled about me taking the pics, but I insisted.

So, we're off to our first Friday night HS football game (maybe even under the lights).

Reilly is getting awfully brave on her Dora bike! Just a few days of practicing and she's already doing tricks. She's very proud of her one hand. She'll do laps over and over like this and even do one foot for a bit too. :)

Back to school!

The kids were very excited to get back to school. Cass is a FRESHMAN and Reilly is on her second year of preschool. Great to get back to a routine.

Survived the move!

Wow, what LONG few days! Not only were we physically exhausted and overwhelmed from the move but w/out computer, phone and TV for 5 days, we were emotional wrecks. We were in our own world for a couple days and it feels real good to be back.

We are still settling in and there are many boxes left to unpack, but it's starting to feel like home.

Seeing the kids riding their bikes and playing out in the back yard makes all the work this has been well worth it.
